The Department of Gene technology at AlbaNova University Center performs technology driven research within life sciences and comprise of research groups active in DNA sequencing, gene expression, DNA genotyping, automation. The department also host the KTH Genome Center a fully equipped resource facility. The mission of the department is to develop new tools within the area of gene technology, to use these tools for advanced biological research and continue to be a partner in large multidisciplinary programs.
